During four weeks, all models, designers, photographers, jet setters and socialites, take their agendas and reserve them for the four most important weeks of fashion. Autumn and Winter fashion weeks, starting with New York, followed by London, Milan, finishing the events in Paris; the most important names and brands are ready to show the trends that will be repeated by all others throughout. Last year was no exception; the best of the best was shown from men’s to women’s fashion, from ready to wear to haute couture.
Every season certain trends must be highlighted; in men’s fashion it is all about the classic fall rugged look. The plaid tie, the dark khakis, tweed three-piece suits, the double-breasted coat, and bulky everything: sweaters, turtlenecks, hats and scarves. These trends are repeated throughout all designers. In women’s fashion, it is all about the country goes urban look.
