They are three girls from New York with a really cool vibe; their music is very calm but still cool electronic, like Postal Service kind of style. Their noise is made by keyoboards, drums, and vocals; and the result of all this, gives us great melodies to relax, enjoy, jump, and sing. The name of the band comes from a line in Tim Burton's Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, when Pee-Wee says Au Revoir to Simone.
If you are this Friday in Mexico City, you should definitely attend to Au Revoir Simone’s concert. It’s going to be in “El Lunario” which is one of my favorite venues for small concerts because the sound is great, and even if you are on the back you still have the artist very very close; if you have the chance you must go, and the price is around $20 US Dlls. So go and get you tickets before they sell out, some of the Palma members will be attending the show.
